Founding Pastor Stephen Chiu
Our beloved Pastor Chiu has gone to be with the Lord in December 2003.
Pastor Stephen Chiu received his undergraduate education in Shanghai,
China. He then received a call to full time ministry and attended
the China Bible Seminary, at which he later also taught. After the
Communists took over Mainland China, he was much persecuted for his
Christian faith. Later, God took him to Hong Kong and then the Philippines
to teach in seminaries. His wife's need for a heart surgery then led
him to the United States. In subsequent years, he established the
Boston Chinese Bible Church and the Chinese for Christ Church of Hayward.
He has written several books about the Christian faith which are widely
read.
